Listen, we didn't just throw a system together in 1-2 years and then let our users tell us how we needed to make it more single-entry, more fluent, more intuitive and to support how you do your work. We didn't create a predominately personal lines systems that's weak in Commercial lines. Instead, we handled all of this upfront (the advantage to the system being designed by an Insurance Automation Consultant) which is why it took 11 years to create CP Manager.
Bluntly, you can't create a highly productive, extremely single-entry system with the policy management functionality in CP Manager and all of the things we did to create a highly productive system in under two years. It's not possible.
Right up front we made sure workflows, productivity strategies and being single-entry along with having very powerful commercial lines management and accounting functionality was all part of CP Manager before we put a single client on the system.
The reason for this is because once you put clients on a system it forces the vendor to lock down their table structures which is why no vendor has ever accomplished what we accomplished... they simply weren't willing to make this kind of investment to create a highly productive system, and instead settled on a feature driven system which is far easier and faster to create but isn't nearly as efficient.
We know that if there had been clients on the system we would never have been able to achieve the level of productivity and how single-entry CP Manager is along with all of the other things we did in the development of CP Manager. Not having clients on the system allowed us to adjust the table structures as needed to create the results we demanded. It's very obvious why its never been done before.
